"I didn’t grow up feeling comfortable in my body."

Why Les Bella Boudoir Exists.....

I was raised in a very conservative environment where modesty, silence, and self-control were emphasized — where bodies were often something to hide or feel conflicted about. Confidence didn’t come naturally, and for a long time I viewed my body through a critical lens, always focusing on what needed fixing instead of what deserved care.

Boudoir changed that for me.

Not in a dramatic, overnight way — but slowly. Gently. By learning to see myself with intention instead of judgment, and realizing that confidence isn’t loud or performative. It’s personal. It’s built over time.

As I began healing my own relationship with my body, I discovered something unexpected: helping other women do the same helped me too.

Creating a space where women feel safe, supported, and seen has been deeply healing for me. Watching someone walk in nervous and walk out standing taller — that matters. Holding space for other women as they reconnect with themselves is something I don’t take lightly, and it’s the heart of why Les Bella Boudoir exists.

This space is for women who didn’t grow up being taught how to feel at home in their bodies. For women who were taught to be small, polite, or invisible. For women who are still unlearning those messages and want to see themselves with more kindness.

I photograph women exactly as they are, with full guidance and deep respect for comfort, boundaries, and pace. You never need to know how to pose, how to feel, or how to “be sexy.” That part is always guided.

My cozy, home studio in Claremont, New Hampshire was intentionally designed with contrast — light and dark — because confidence, healing, and identity aren’t one-dimensional. You’re allowed to be soft and strong, reserved and bold, all at once.

This isn’t about becoming someone else.

It’s about meeting yourself where you are — and realizing she’s already enough.
